loving someone even though you've spent WAAAAY too much time with them, know WAAAAY too much about them, have spent WAAAAY too many hours on the phone with them, written way too many emails, know all their deepest darkest secrets, can tell what they're thinking by the look on their faces, can talk about ANYTHING. the ones that share your laughter AND your tears, your triumphs and disappointments. those are ur super close friends. theres other friends that can be there to hang out with, talk to, do homework with, laugh with, etc, too, who are equally important. idk what i'd do w.o my friends.
friendship... perhaps that biting urge in the back of our appendix to execute that "do unto others..." bit that our contribution to the human race may be justifiable and worthwhile.
or perhaps Disney's Beauty and the Beast pinned it with a desire to love and be loved in return.
Though none of my friends are beautiful sorceresses... I think.
Wow..I can't really add anything to all that....cept one thing. Friendship is loving and supporting someone no matter what they look/sound/etc like. No matter how (un)/popular they are, no matter how good/ugly looking they are, no matter how smart/dumb, funny/dull, normal/abnormal, predictable/random (had to put that one in) they are. THis defintion doesn't really say it like the above ones do, but it get the job done.
thanks most kindly lynette!!!! and i think friendship is something like letting your distraught female friends wet and drool on your shoulder when theyre crying while offering comfort. and also, allowing your male friends to vent their anger and frustration on you, whilst offering Godly solutions to their problems. its reaching out to those that dont have friends. aka, being like Christ.
about me?well, lets see ... im sixteen, i love emailing (since the bulk of my friends are overseas...:D) have a great life and enjoy good humour. i have brown hair, i am taller than my mom, and i have the same size shoes as my sister. i am a Christian... i dont know how i would get by without the love of Christ... and thats about all!!

Usually a casual relationship that comes out of daily interaction/shared life expirience/common brain patterns.
Sometimes the friendship is formed on a spiritual plane, resulting in a deep and supernatural bond we really don't understand.

Friendship doubles our joy and divides our grief
